Direct Note Access

Even if I am not a musician, this is really cool:

Direct Note Access heralds a whole new age in audio editing: for the first time in audio production history it is possible to edit individual notes within chords and polyphonic recordings – separately!

Blue Man Group in San Jose

Three weeks ago, Judith and I went to the Blue Man Group Show in San Jose. Although everyone I talked to and who had already seen the Blue Man Group told me that the show “is ok”, I liked it a lot. Here are some impressions from the show:

Magnetosphere – iTunes-Visualizer

I found a very cool iTunes-Visualizer called Magnetosphere. Although it is version 0.1 beta, it looks amazing and is available for Mac OS X and Windows. Give it a try!

Further screen shots can be found on their website.

iPod Shuffle

The iPod Shuffle, which I pre-ordered in September, finally arrived today. Damn…it’s small! :-)

Installation was Apple-like: unpack, connect, accept license, iTunes opens and you are ready to transfer music. Sound quality is ok so far. (= sounds good ;-) )
