I am not actively working anymore on WP-Gallery-Remote.

Description:
WP-Gallery-Remote is a plugin for the open source blog software WordPress. It can be used to include albums and images from any Gallery installation using Gallery’s Gallery Remote Protocol.

WP-Gallery-Remote uses the Lightbox plugin for WordPress to display images in a visually appealing way.

PLEASE NOTE: WP-Gallery-Remote only works with PHP5! PHP4 is not supported.

Feature Overview

displays images and albums of any Gallery installation which has enabled the Gallery-Remote-Protocol
support for multiple wpgr tags in one post/page (v1.1)
support for multiple Gallery installations (v1.2)
two output types: plain and carousel (v1.2)
Lightbox integration
supports caching of fetched album and image meta data (can be enabled/disabled globally and per post/page)
include/exclude filter to only show some images from an album
global and per post/page options to display album title and subalbums
uses Gallery’s image captions

I am having a small problem. When I test the connection I get the following error:

Warning: array_search() [function.array-search]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/xxx/public_html/2008/wp-content/plugins/wp-gallery-remote/wp-gallery-remote.php on line 1091

Warning: array_search() [function.array-search]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/xxx/public_html/2008/wp-content/plugins/wp-gallery-remote/wp-gallery-remote.php on line 1104

I have all the requirements met. Any suggestions?

I’m using wp-gallery-remote. Thanks, BTW, I love it. The image cache wasn’t resetting, however. In wp-gallery-remote.php on line 1131, I changed , and now it works.

OK, what I said was that I changed $lt;= to $gt. But, actually, that wasn’t all of the problem. I also had to change $this-$gt;images[$gallery_id][$current_album]['cachetimeoutimages'] to $gallery['cachetimeoutimages']. I don’t see where the first item is ever set. On my installation (the latest version – 1.3, btw), it’s null.

Hi Christian,

I can’t get images to display at all. Curiously the root album always is 7, no matter which album I choose. Is this normal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have installed gallery2 and have php5 and allow w.e is turned on and when i got to activate the plugin i werdpress says “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.” i donno what to do.

I’m also getting an error like this one:

I had it working just fine and then I cleared the image cache and starting getting this error. Any ideas? I tried a re-install and no luck. Thanks!

I downloaded the latest version, but get the following error when trying to activate it :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’
in /home/.jakov/website/wp-content/plugins/wp-gallery-remote/wp-gallery-remote.php on line 27

Okay,… i have understand:

“does NOT work with PHP4″ is not a joke!!!

Upgrade to PHP 5.2.4 and the “Parse Error” is gone!!

Hello.

I have a problem with using this plugin. I’ve followed the instructions and setuped the plugin, but when I clock the “WP GR” button in the wordpress wysiwyg editor the popup window opens but nothing gets loaded in there. If I try to visit the url manually http://blog.juhonkoti.net/wp-content/plugins/wp-gallery-remote/mce_plugin/wp-gallery-remote-mce-plugin.php it loads the page and everything looks good.

Any ideas or suggestions?

okay,… sorry for my bad english,…. but

after update to php5, i have the same problem now like juho.

please christian or anyone, help us and give us a great christmas-gift.
