…I went to an “Official Apple Reseller Shop” nearby to buy Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. I asked, whether it is available, which the shop guy confirmed and told me a price of 400rmb (which is a little less than 40€). Because I was wondering about the low price (Germany 129€; US 129$), I told him that I want to buy an original version. I was told, that it is the price for the original version. So, I asked him to show it to me and he presented a brand new DVD-R disc to me, which even did not had any cover or similar! A priate copy!
I again said, that I am only interested in an official (= original) version and the guy still tried to convince me that this is an original one.
Official reseller…really sad…
Update 2007/11/04: I tried it again today. The price dropped from 400 to 250 RMB and guess which word of the sentence “What you do is illegal!!” they did not understand…
