A new version of WP-Gallery-Remote is available. Version 1.2 brings the following new features:
- support for multiple Gallery installations
- new output type carousel (animated CSS/JS based image viewer)
- clicking on an image in the blog’s RSS mode, opens the blog post and triggers the lightbox effect for the respective post
- redesigned admin page
- div-container of plain output can be formatted via CSS

I love the caching feature! Now that that’s in place, I actually like the lightbox integration – it’s snappy and responsive!
There still seems to be a problem with captions. Check out the image in this test post: http://reallyboring.net/index.php/2007/08/19/test-post/. It’s correctly displaying the apostrophe, but now it’s chocking on an ampersand (the caption should read “L’Oreal R&D”.
My one outstanding feature request would be to have the album names serve as links to the albums, and perhaps to put a link to the album in the lightbox window that pops up too, if that’s possible.
